Allow Me to Introduce Myself…
From the time I started talking, people told my mother to buckle her seatbelt because her daughter would be an attorney one day.
I have always had a strong sense of right and wrong, with a voice unafraid to be heard. When I saw someone treated unfairly, their problem became my problem. I was born to advocate for those that don’t have the tools to advocate for themselves, and I am so grateful every day that the career I chose allows me to do that.
My interest in technology led me to start my career in intellectual property. This field is ever-changing, allowing me to constantly challenge my abilities while honing in on the strengths I’ve built in the five years of working in the industry.
Even though I have found a practice area that I enjoy, I hope to one day have the chance to also work to overturn wrongful convictions. My passion has always been criminal justice, which is why I pursued criminology in my undergraduate studies. A life goal of mine is to be in a position where I’m able to work pro bono, helping innocent people get out of prison.
